Rivers Casino floor and poker tables
Checked October 11, 2026Filed by the Shift Log desk
The floor at Rivers Casino & Entertainment Centre holds over 400 slot machines, live table games and 3 poker tables. Slots and tables keep different hours, and the poker panel below shows when the cash game starts each day.
Slots
Rivers Casino has over 400 slot machines on a coinless floor. Play runs on ticket-in/ticket-out, so no coins change hands. The floor carries provincial and local progressive slots. AGLC lists electronic table games here as well, alongside the slot machines and live tables.
Slot hours are Sunday to Thursday 9:30 AM to 3:00 AM. On Friday and Saturday the machines stay on until 4:00 AM.
Late closes belong to the next calendar day. A Friday 4:00 AM close is early Saturday morning, and the Saturday close falls on Sunday morning. The same applies Sunday to Thursday: a Thursday 3:00 AM close lands early Friday. Holiday hours are not published and should be checked with the casino.
Live tables
The live games are Blackjack, Free Bet Blackjack, Roulette and Ultimate Texas Hold'em. The table schedule differs from the slots and changes by day. Monday to Wednesday, tables open at 4 PM and close at 2 AM. Thursday to Saturday they run from 2 PM to 3 AM. Sunday hours are 2 PM to 2 AM.
Each 2 AM or 3 AM close falls early the next morning, so a Monday close at 2 AM is early Tuesday. The total number of tables is not published, and neither are table minimums. For those questions, the Table Games Manager is at (780) 790-9739, extension 104. Holiday hours should be checked with the casino.
Poker
Rivers Casino has 3 poker tables. Cash games start at 6 PM every night. On Fridays the game is $2-$5, with the same 6 PM start. Stakes on other nights are not published. Details on each game come from the pit boss.
Poker room hours are not published as fixed hours. The casino asks players to call (780) 790-9739, extension 105, for them. Extension 105 reaches The Pit. The Poker Room line is extension 109. Holiday hours should also be confirmed by phone.

Winner's Edge card
Winner's Edge is the AGLC province-wide loyalty program, and it runs at Rivers Casino. Members earn points on all slot machines and electronic table games. The rate is 1 point for every $1 to $5 wagered, depending on the game. Some games are excluded.
Points can be redeemed for play or for extra entries into members-only contests. Members also get 10% off select menu items.
The card is picked up at Guest Services with government ID, and members must be 18 or older. Members enrolled in self-exclusion are not eligible. Members can set spend and time limits and alerts with the GameSense My Activity and Budgeting Tools. These tools work at the Winner's Edge kiosk in any Alberta casino or in the online account.
